Perilaku Pencegahan terhadap Bahaya Formaldehid pada Mahasiswa Kedokteran di Laboratorium Anatomi Universitas Y

Paparan formaldehid di laboratorium anatomi berisiko menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan pada mahasiswa kedokteran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku pencegahan terhadap bahaya formaldehid pada mahasiswa kedokteran di Laboratorium Anatomi Universitas Y. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 285 mahasiswa dan ditetapkan dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap (p-value 0,010), sarana dan prasarana (p-value 0,000), lingkungan (p-value 0,000), serta sumber informasi (p-value 0,005) dengan perilaku pencegahan bahaya formaldehid. Peneliti menyarankan agar institusi pendidikan meningkatkan edukasi keselamatan laboratorium, menyediakan fasilitas pendukung yang memadai, serta memperkuat pengawasan dan kebijakan penggunaan alat pelindung diri selama kegiatan praktikum.
