Penerapan Kombinasi Shaking Table dan Magnetic Separator pada Pengolahan Bijih Timah Primer serta Analisis Kelayakan Investasinya di Bangka Belitung

Timah merupakan komoditas mineral strategis yang memiliki peranan penting dalam industri elektronik, penyimpanan energi, dan manufaktur. Menurunnya cadangan timah aluvial mendorong pemanfaatan bijih timah primer yang memiliki karakteristik mineral kompleks, kadar rendah, serta membutuhkan teknologi pengolahan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja kombinasi shaking table dan magnetic separator dalam meningkatkan kadar serta recovery timah, sekaligus menganalisis kelayakan investasi pengolahan bijih timah primer di Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimental skala laboratorium yang dikombinasikan dengan analisis kelayakan finansial. Sampel bijih timah primer dari Tambang Paku, Bangka Selatan, diolah melalui tahap optimasi shaking table dan dilanjutkan dengan proses pemisahan magnetik menggunakan variasi parameter operasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi optimum shaking table meningkatkan kadar Sn dari 1,42% menjadi 38,20% dengan recovery 75,17%. Selanjutnya, proses magnetic separator menghasilkan konsentrat akhir dengan kadar Sn sebesar 52,80%, menurunkan kandungan Fe2O3 dari 12,6% menjadi 5,6%, serta menghasilkan recovery total sebesar 68,9%. Analisis ekonomi menunjukkan proyek layak dengan nilai NPV Rp53,58 miliar, IRR 46,26%, payback period 1,84 tahun, dan profitability index 2,04. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi shaking table dan magnetic separator efektif secara teknis dan ekonomis sebagai alternatif pengolahan bijih timah primer yang berkelanjutan.
