Faktor Sosial dan Psikologis yang Mempengaruhi Partisipasi Umat dalam Kegiatan Gerejawi: Studi pada Komunitas Basis di Paroki Mok, Flores

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor sosial dan psikologis yang memengaruhi partisipasi umat dalam kegiatan gerejawi pada komunitas basis di Paroki Mok, Flores. Fenomena ketidakstabilan tingkat partisipasi umat—tinggi dalam misa hari raya namun rendah dalam kegiatan pembinaan iman rutin—menunjukkan adanya dinamika kompleks yang memerlukan kajian mendalam. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap struktur pastoral dan aktivitas umat. Informan terdiri atas pastor paroki, pengurus stasi, katekis, dan umat dengan variasi tingkat partisipasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña, yang mengeksplorasi tema sosial seperti pendidikan, kondisi ekonomi, dan modal sosial, serta tema psikologis seperti motivasi religius, persepsi makna kegiatan, dan identitas religius. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi umat merupakan hasil interaksi dinamis antara konteks sosial dan kondisi psikologis. Hambatan sosial seperti kesibukan ekonomi, jarak geografis, dan rendahnya literasi religius membatasi keikutsertaan umat, sementara motivasi intrinsik, persepsi relevansi kegiatan dengan kehidupan, dan rasa memiliki terhadap komunitas terbukti meningkatkan kualitas keterlibatan. Penelitian menegaskan bahwa peningkatan partisipasi tidak dapat dicapai hanya melalui penambahan kegiatan, tetapi melalui strategi pastoral kontekstual yang memperkuat jaringan sosial internal sekaligus menumbuhkan motivasi iman intrinsik. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi Gereja lokal dalam merancang program pembinaan iman yang lebih relevan, dialogis, dan berbasis pengalaman nyata umat.
