Formulasi Dan Karakterisasi Tablet Effervescent Ekstrak Etanol Uwi (Dioscorea Alata L.) Sebagai Antiosteoporosis

Uwi (Dioscorea alata L.) memiliki potensi mempertahankan kepadatan tulang pada tikus osteoporosis. Pemberian obat kepada perempuan osteoporosis 60-70 tahun dibutuhkan sediaan mudah digunakan berupa tablet effervescent.Tablet effervescent lebih disukai karena praktis dan cepat larut dalam air. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui karakteristik formula tablet effervescent Uwi (Dioscorea alata L.) sebagai antiosteoporosis. Ekstraksi Uwi dimaserasi menggunakan etanol. Ekstrak Uwi dicampur laktosa hingga homogen, diayak hingga berbentuk granul, di oven suhu 50oC hingga kering, lalu di campur asam sitrat, asam tartrat dan natrium bikarbonat, diaduk homogen. Setelah homogen, dikeringkan di oven suhu 80°C, diayak dengan mesh20 hingga menghasilkan granul. Serbuk granul dicampurkan aspartam dan PEG 4000 diaduk homogen, kempa hingga menghasilkan tablet. Tablet dihasilkan di lakukan karakterisasi. Hasil karakteristik keseragaman ukuran diperoleh formula 1 adalah 1.258 cm, formula 2 dan 3 diperoleh keseragaman ukuran 1.252 cm. Karakteristik keseragaman bobot, diperoleh (gram) F1 = 3.529, F2 = 3.499 dan F3 = 3.495. Karakteristik kekerasan, diperoleh (kg) F1 (6.121), F2 (6.161) dan F3 (6.121). Karakteristik kelarutan, dari tiap formula 73,17 (detik). Kesimpulan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hasil keseragaman ukuran, keseragaman bobot, kekerasan tablet, dan waktu larut dari tiap formula sehingga menunjukkan tablet dapat digunakan karena memenuhi syarat.
