Perbaikan Fungsi Estetika pada Kasus Early Childhood Caries Anak Usia 3 Tahun dengan Pendekatan Strip Crown dan Pasak Fiber Reinforced Composite

Early Childhood Caries (ECC) merupakan masalah kesehatan gigi yang serius pada anak usia dini dengan prevalensi tinggi di Indonesia mencapai 81,55%. ECC tidak hanya menyebabkan kerusakan gigi tetapi juga berdampak pada estetika, fungsi bicara, dan aspek psikososial anak. Melaporkan penatalaksanaan komprehensif kasus ECC berat pada anak usia 3 tahun dengan pendekatan strip crown dan pasak fiber reinforced composite untuk mempertahankan fungsi dan estetika gigi anterior. Laporan kasus pada pasien anak perempuan usia 3,5 tahun dengan ECC pada gigi 51, 52, 61, dan 62. Tindakan meliputi pulpektomi pada gigi dengan nekrosis pulpa/pulpitis irreversibel, pemasangan pasak fiber reinforced composite, dan restorasi strip crown. Evaluasi radiografis menunjukkan karies mencapai batas pulpa pada gigi 51, 52, dan 62. Setelah pulpektomi menggunakan obturasi zinc oxide eugenol, dilakukan pemasangan pasak fiber reinforced composite dan strip crown dengan bahan resin komposit. Kontrol 1 bulan menunjukkan tidak ada keluhan, restorasi stabil dengan estetika yang memuaskan. Kombinasi pulpektomi, pasak fiber reinforced composite, dan strip crown merupakan pendekatan efektif untuk rehabilitasi ECC berat, memberikan hasil fungsional dan estetik yang optimal pada gigi anterior sulung.
