Rounded Corner sebagai Strategi Soft Geometry dalam Desain Interior: Kajian Literatur Berbasis Psikologi Lingkungan terhadap Estetika, Kenyamanan Visual, dan Persepsi Keamanan Ruang

Perkembangan desain interior kontemporer menunjukkan pergeseran dari pendekatan yang berorientasi fungsi menuju desain yang berpusat pada pengalaman dan kesejahteraan pengguna. Bentuk geometris ruang, termasuk sudut melengkung, memengaruhi persepsi estetika, kenyamanan visual, dan persepsi keamanan. Manusia modern menghabiskan sekitar 80–90% aktivitas hariannya di dalam ruang, sehingga kualitas desain interior berdampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penerapan sudut membulat sebagai strategi geometri lunak dalam desain interior dari perspektif Psikologi Lingkungan, dengan fokus pada estetika, kenyamanan visual, dan persepsi keamanan ruang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review dengan menelaah artikel ilmiah yang relevan mengenai sudut membulat, bentuk kurvilinear, geometri lembut, estetika visual, kenyamanan visual, persepsi keamanan, dan Psikologi Lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk melengkung cenderung menghasilkan respons estetika yang lebih positif, meningkatkan kenyamanan visual melalui kemudahan pencahayaan visual, serta mengurangi dampak ancaman yang sering diasosiasikan dengan sudut tajam. Dengan demikian, sudut membulat tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai elemen dekoratif, tetapi juga sebagai strategi desain yang mendukung terciptanya interior ruang yang lebih humanis, nyaman, aman, dan berorientasi pada kesejahteraan pengguna.
